GameX Recap

GameX was a great event. The BAWLS Team went through 14,000 bottles of BAWLS Guarana in just three days! There were tons of gaming events, activities, and contests going on throughout the weekend.
GameX rocked Philadelphia and we can't wait till next year!

Countdown to Lancaster!

BAWLS Pros Danny "Easy Money" Caluag and David "The Hermanator" Herman will be among some of the best riders in the world at the ABA Golden State Nationals. The race will be taking place October 17 and 18 at Antelope Valley BMX in Lancaster, CA.

2009 PSP World Cup

2009 PSP World Cup commenced this past weekend and it was awesome. Over 300 teams and thousands of spectators flocked to Poke City, FL for some intense paintball action. Teams from all around the world competed for paintball glory.
BAWLS Guarana sampled over 24,000 cans of BAWLS Guarana in five days! The sun was hot, the paintball was fierce, and the BAWLS was cold!

The Countdown is on for the ABA Grands! Come Thanksgiving weekend, thousands of riders and fans will be making their way to Tulsa Expo Square for the largest BMX Race on the Planet!

The BYOC

QuakeCon 2009 scored a perfect 10 on the Richter Scale! This event had it all - a huge BYOC and 4 day LAN Party, Pro gaming tournaments, plenty of contests, activities, and giveaways, and of course, BAWLS Guarana!
QuakeCon attendees consumed over 30,000 cans, 20 gallons of SnoBAWLS, and 500 BAWLS mints in one weekend!

QUAKECON: The Aftermath

QUAKECON 2009 scored a perfect 10 on the richter scale! Several thousands of gamers packed the halls of the Gaylord Texan in Dallas for a weekend of digital (and caffeinated) bliss!
Over 30,000 cans of BAWLS, 20 gallons of SnoBAWLS and over 500 BAWLS Mints were consumed at Quakecon this year!!!
The BYOC was packed with crazed fans as QuakeCon had a record attendance this year. BAWLS is proud to be part of this event every year and looking forward on fueling QuakeCon 2010!

Barragan Wins BIG in Prunedale!

We are down to the wire in the ’09 NBL season and BAWLS Pro Stephanie Barragan is doing everything she can to secure top finishes with a huge win in Prunedale, CA at the NBL Golden State Nationals!
In the last Elite Race before the NBL Grands, Stephanie left it all out on the track at Manzanita BMX!
Stephanie closed the weekend and made the podium her 2nd home with a 1st place win on Saturday and 2nd place finish on Sunday. These top finishes should put her in the top five in NBL points going into the Grand Nationals this September.
Stephanie is also on the verge of a top finish in the ABA this season - she currently sits in 4th place (in points) with plenty of races left to close the gap.

The RUCKUS is on!
BAWLS Pro Matt "Ruckus" Pohlkamp rode hard at the NBL Music City Nationals last weekend, landing a podium finish!
Matt ended up in the Top 4 and Top 3 on both race days, looking sharp while getting air in his BAWLS Cherry helmet.
Hundreds also crowded the BAWLS tent to watch our latest Bunny Hop competition, where the winner took home a new BAWLS Bike, made, courtesy of Intense BMX!

What a weekend it was in Portland!
Thousands gathered for the latest installment of the Mecca of West Coast LANS - PDXLAN14! The HOliday Inn Conference Center in Portland was caffeinated beyond belief this time, with fans waiting in long, LONG lines to get their hands on the weekend's fuel of choice - BAWLS Guarana!
The BAWLS Booth was complete with a 7ft-tall BAWLS 12 pack fort made by fans, an 8foot tall BAWLS bottle, and a BAWLS Guitar hero Controller contest for one lucky winner!
Hundreds chugged for their lives at the BAWLS Chugging Contest and hundreds more downed tasty G33K B33R floats to beat the heat!

BMXers Stephanie Barragan and David Herman landed podium finishes at the ABA Super Nationals!
Part of an action-packed weekend at the USA Cycling National Championships, David took a 1st place win on Day 1, with Stephanie snagging 2nd and 3rd place finishes on Days 2 and 3.
Stephanie also racked up a ton of UCI qualifying points with a 2nd place finish at the USA Cycling National Championships. She got her new blue-on-silver chrome BAWLS helmet to ring in the occassion!

BAWLS is Back on the Track!

The BAWLS Team took to the track at the NBL's first race of the year - the Coyote Nationals in Phoenix, AZ!
Armed with plenty of ice-cold BAWLS BMX cans and fun activities for the weekend, racers and spectators took part in a bunch of events at the BAWLS tent, including our Bunny Hop Competition to win a BAWLS/Intense bike and the awarding of the first-ever BAWLS BMXer Award and can trophy!
14 year-old amateur rider Thivanka Weerasekara (they call him "TW") rode hard all weekend and was selected by NBL officials as having the pest amateur rider performance at the race. Thivanka will be featured in an interview with BMX Today Magazine and now has a 2009 sponsorship from his favorite drink!
Up next is the ABA So Cal Nationals in Lake Perris, CA on Feb 6-8!

Thunder and Ruckus End NBL Season with #3 and #4 Rankings!

BAWLS BMX Pro Rachel “Thunder” Smith wrapped up the 2008 NBL Elite Series with a solid #3 overall Elite Woman ranking at this weekend’s NBL Grands in Louisville, KY! Rachel capped off a great season with a 3rd place finish in her Main at the NBL Grands on Saturday, earning her enough points to take the #3 NBL Elite Woman spot for the year! The ranking adds to Rachel’s already impressive race record, including a 2007 NBL Big A Series title.

Sporting his snazzy BAWLS Cherry helmet, Matt “Ruckus” Pohlkamp came to the Grands with a huge South Park win under his belt and was ready to end the year strong. Matt took a nasty crash on Saturday but still racked up enough points to end the year with a #4 NBL Elite Men ranking!

BAWLS Powered Gamers to Break World Record!

Nvision set out to do a job and they got it done! On August 27, 2008 more than 8,000 gamers from over 40 countries in the world completed a 36-hour LAN event and captured the Guinness Book of World Record for the "Longest Lan Ever Held!"
BAWLS fueled these sleep deprived gamers with 19,000 cans of BAWLS drinks and every single can was inhaled to accomplish this record-breaking feat!

More than 1,000 paintballers took to the field at the KC Crusader's 24-hour paintball tournament in Seattle, WA!

BAWLS closed out this summer’s paintball season at the PSP Northeast Open in Greensburg, PA!
Paint-splattered fans and eager spectators trekked through All-American Paintball Park for four days of non-stop action. Loads of paintballers swarmed the BAWLS tent to chug down drinks and to fill up on SnoBAWLS before they dropped bodies on the fields!
BAWLS-sponsored teams No Limit Paintball and Boom duked it out to capture the top spot on Sunday night, but it was team Boom who secured 1st place. Congrats, guys!
